Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Flash Tank Arena ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Game.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Game after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Game, you may need to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You may play as a guest without registration, but your progress will not be saved across sessions.

3. User Conduct

While using the Game, you agree NOT to:

  • Use cheats, hacks, exploits, or third-party software to gain unfair advantages
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other players
  • Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate usernames
  • Impersonate other players or staff members
  • Share or sell your account to others
  • Attempt to disrupt game servers or services
  • Exploit bugs instead of reporting them
  • Engage in real-money trading of in-game items

Violation of these rules may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account without refund.

4. Virtual Currency and Purchases

The Game may offer virtual currency ("TKN") and virtual items for purchase:

  • Virtual Currency: TKN has no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money
  • Purchases are Final: All purchases of virtual currency and items are final and non-refundable, except where required by law
  • License: You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use virtual items within the Game
  • Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove virtual items at any time

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game, including but not limited to graphics, gameplay, code, music, and text, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute any Game content
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Game
  • Use Game content for commercial purposes
  • Create derivative works based on the Game

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit any content (such as usernames, chat messages, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and modify such content in connection with the Game.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit and must ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Game available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Temporarily suspend the Game for maintenance
  • Modify or discontinue features at any time
  • Update the Game without prior notice
  • Terminate the Game service entirely with reasonable notice

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Game.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Game is revoked
  • You may lose access to your account and virtual items
  • You will not be entitled to any refund

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
